POST 4: WHAT ROTARY TRAIL MIGHT LOOK LIKE

To help friends and potential sponsors visualize what a Rotary Trail Light Festival MIGHT  look like, I created a series of MOCKUPS using mostly EXAMPLES of Light Sculptures, Projections and Graffiti collected on the Internet. I want to make it clear that these are NOT my work nor the work of Artists I personally know. But having worked with a number of local Artists on previous Light Shows, I know they already have work on hand that can be used, and I am confident they can create new special pieces for THIS show.
Here is a mockup of the Amphitheater Area at night withy own Classic Gate Animated Projections(people could sit to watch the animations) and various light sculptures:

Light Scuptures could be displayed either on the yellow "stands", hung from posts, or on the ground. The ramp could be lighted with RGB COLOR LEDS:

The path could be lined with Light Sculpture, either free standing, hung on the walls, hanging from the trees or the light posts. or raised on the yellow stands:

Anything could be projected on the walls and floor of the tunnels, from Cityscapes to Trees:

and vertical projections on the wooden pathway and the pebbles

as well as Light Graffitti

The Wavy Concrete Slabs could be lighted with moving abstract washes of color, or realistic images, movies, animations, etc...

There could be some vertical Interactive Ground Projections on the concrete walk itself(the balloons or the leaves respond to people walking and kicking):

The back of the Main Gate could be wrapped in white fabric and projected on, the orange pipes coming in and out of the ground on each side of the double path could be backed with running LED lights, and Light Sculptures placed in the central  area, as well as hung on the right wall:

The staircases can be washed with color lights:

The picnic tables can be mapped with animation, as fabulous "Le Petit Chef", that people can sit on the benches to watch

A simple cutout cardboard or paper cache shell with a bulb can very effectively project a message on the ground:

We can use iPads or iPhones to create live graffiti:

The Hardwick Company Building could be mapped if we had a big projector:

Small classroom projectors could be used to project graphics and images on the side of the same building:

The huge tin shed on the other side of the street could become a blank canvas for a Show of Temporary Light Graffiti:

If budget allows, even the expressway underpass at the end of the Trail could be lighted up:
